Our Mission At Jesus In Me

It is our mission at Jesus In Me to reach out to others as the body of Christ.  Each member working together to support the Head which is our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.  Our desire is to show His love through our love for others and their needs.  The needs are many, the workers are few.  We have a Facebook page that shares the verse of the day, thoughts to ponder, and take prayer requests.  At this time 1,017 have joined.  The LORD has promised us many, many, more.  We do not advertise, nor take any monetary gain for our work.  Our treasure lies in Heaven.  We would be honored to have you join us on Facebook, by clicking the Facebook page at left on this blog, and then Like at the top of our page.  I was once told by someone very dear to me that Facebook is about relationships, not religion.  We are not about religion, we too are about the most important relationship one can have….. a relationship with a Living Savior. So please pray about it and join our Facebook family. God bless!

Verse of the Day

December 29, 2011:“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”        John 14:1-3 KJV

Where Was God On 9/11/2001

Where will You be on your 911?

On 9/11/01 and since many have questioned where was God that day? Some have even suggested that He was behind this, or at the least He allowed it.  He did allow it, just as He allowed Adam and Eve to sin in the garden.  Without allowing those things to happen we have no choices.  Still the day of 911 God was very busy. Since He is all-knowing He had the angels of Heaven busy preparing a welcoming feast for His children that were coming home that day.  Other angels He had been sent on a mission to remove some very special children out of harms way.  He still had work for them to do on earth.  These angels on earth messed with the transportation of some that never arrived for work.  Others put obstacles in their paths anything to make them very late for their jobs.  Others just guided many fireman in and out of the buildings pulling others to safety.

Now, where was God?  He was everywhere as He is daily in the hearts of His children.  He was in the stairwells planting peaceful thoughts as some prayed. He was under the desks with those trying to hide from the flames.  He was on the phone with those calling loved ones for the last time.  He was in the plane guiding the people who gave their lives to stop the terrorists. He was with the terrorists themselves until the very end.  Knocking on the door of their hearts, saying turn back, do not do this!  He knew they were on the highway to Hell, but they turned deaf ears.  At the last moment He brushed the dust, as they entered Hell for eternity.  Knowing the torment they would reap.

Since that day 10 years ago God has been with the families. Giving them peace and strength.  Giving hope to go on.  He lives in the hearts of the children that remember their Moms, and Dads. In the hearts of children that will never know their Dads.  He has brought others closer together through prayer and suffering. He was there then, and He is there now.  His love is never-ending.  So be prepared when your 9/11 comes. It could be any day, not just on 9/11 and know no matter where you are or what is happening around you. God is with you.  God bless you ..until we meet again.

When a Doctor Prays to The Almighty Physician

It was only about a week ago when I started having this annoying ache in the center of my chest.  At first I was not real concerned.  Then it seemed with each small task I tried to complete I was feeling more pain and more fatigue.  My first reaction was to take it to the Lord in prayer, which I did several times.  The pain came and went but was not noticeable when I was resting.  Anyone that knows me well knows I put all my trust in the Lord, and not much confidence in man so I am not one to run to a doctor with each new issue.  I say in Jesus name this too will pass.  Three days past, and this seemed a bit worse, not better.  It was now Sunday.  My daughter was very concerned and kept telling me to go to an Urgent Care Center in our area that is open 7 days a week.  On Sunday afternoon I finally stubbornly agreed to go. My husband drove me there.  When I entered the clinic there were 2 ladies at the desk, and no one in the waiting room.  They asked how they could help me?  I told them of this pain in my chest, and without hesitation they told me to go to the ER of our local hospital which is only a block from where they were located.  I asked them if there was a doctor in the building that I could speak to? Obviously there was and He had heard our conversation.  He stepped out to where I could see him, and told me he could do an EKG but there were other test I would still need, and said please go to the ER.  So we left for the ER.

By now I was a nervous wreck.  My husband pulled up to the entrance of ER, let me out and then He went to park.  Inside the waiting room was packed.  I went to the registration window and told the lady I was having discomfort in my chest.  She told me to just have a seat.  I sat down and within minutes a young man was leaning over my shoulder telling me to come with him for an EKG.  Because of the urgency they were treating this with, I know I was shaking by this time.  I found out later the EKG was not normal.  I was now in a hospital gown and placed in an out-patient room in ER.  A doctor came in told me I needed more test.  They did a chest x-ray, a CT scan of my chest, and many blood test.  They found nothing.  Then they did another EKG which this time was normal.  The attending doctor for ER was in and out over a period of several hours.  He then told me I was going to be admitted for monitoring over night, and that a Cardiologist would see me the following morning.  There were none at the Hospital this late on Sunday evening.

I was admitted and taken to a room on the 3rd floor.   It was now after 8:00 P.M. at night.  As you can imagine.  I was hooked up to all kinds of monitors etc.  After everyone left us alone I told my husband to go home and get some rest.  We would not know anything until the next day.  The nurses were in and out.  I had a good repose with them, and liked them a lot.  A little past 9:00 P.M. a man in his early 40′s came in and introduced himself as my Cardiologist since I had not seen one before this time.  He had decided to come talk with me instead of waiting until morning.  I gave him an A+ in my mind for that.  He asked me of past history, relatives with heart disease and so on.  I must back up here and say I know there are many doctors that are Christian men and God does use them.  That is usually a question I ask them, but they usually answer and that is the end of our conversation about it.  Back to the conversation.  The doctor proceeded to tell me in His opinion I needed a heart cath to check for blockage and that the pain I had been having was angina.  He told me He could do the cath but if He found a blockage which would need a stent He could not do that, and I would need to be transported to a hospital about 45 minutes away.   So His recommendation was for me to be transported to the other Hospital the next morning to avoid 2 procedures.  Since I do not know any of the doctors there He began to tell me about a friend of His that had performed a heart cath on him, and many of his family members.  One of the first things He said is, “He is a good CHRISTIAN man.”( This verse came to mind. Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. Thank You Lord for directing my path! amen). I jumped in at this point telling Him He had said enough, and that what He said meant more to me than anything He could have said about this man.  I could not believe without me asking a Cardiologist had pulled up a chair, was relaxing by my bedside, and now He began to talk to me about His walk with the Lord.  It was like at that moment the Holy Spirit took over. He was no longer a doctor but a brother and a friend.  He told me about the church he attended as a child which was Baptist.  About His first experience at a large Assembly of God church where He first heard the Holy Ghost speak through a person, followed by interpretation, and how he felt the Spirit leap within Him.  We talked for over an hour.  My cell phone rang in my purse where I could not reach it.  I said let it ring, I will call them back.  Instead He insisted on getting it for me.  We finally got back to him saying He would make arrangements for me to be transported the next morning to the other hospital and that He would contact His friend.  He was about to leave the room.  Then He turned and said, “May I pray for you?”  I said of course.  He held out His hand and I took it.  He spoke one of the most beautiful prayers I had ever heard quoting many scriptures from heart.  Many that unless the person is well-studied, they would not know.  He asked the LORD to bless me with many more years.  I was very much in agreement with His prayer and received and gave thanks to the LORD in Jesus name.  Proverbs 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. He then told me goodnight and left the room.  THIS CARDIOLOGIST HAD BEEN IN MY ROOM FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF. I was not only at peace, I was praising the Lord with everything within me.  Even the nurses were amazed when we later talked a bit about it.

The following morning when the EMT’s arrived. One road with me in the back of the ambulance.  As it turned out He had known my doctor since high school, and said He had always been the same even then.  To my amazement again, this EMT was a member of a church not far from my house, even though He lived in the next county.  We discussed scriptures on the ride over to the other hospital, and He took notes.  I was on a HIGH….but not from drugs or meds.  Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. I was delighting in all things! After all this I met my friend’s friend, the other doctor and liked Him too.  He did the procedure, found only a slight narrowing of one artery which he thought could be treated with a pill, no surgery, no stent, no follow-up visit needed.  After a couple of hours rest, I went home. Thank You Jesus!!!

Women In Ministry

This a subject very dear to my heart since I am a woman. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal and teach us all things.  In the flesh, we lean on our own understanding and that’s something God’s word speaks against.  While on this earth, there are times we walk in the Spirit and times we walk in the flesh. Our fleshly bodies have needs, just as our spiritual body has needs. God’s Word speaks of both. Often when the Bible speaks of man. It is speaking of mankind. (All things that are human in nature.  Lets start at the beginning. Genesis 1: 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (So Adam was created both male and female). Eve was taken from Adam’s rib, as she was already a part of man. She was wo-man. A man with a womb.  She was not called Eve until after the fall. Just as sin separated male from female, it separated man from God. (Both male and female were separated from God because of sin entering the world).

Thank God for Jesus who became sin for us, that we could be re-united through Him and His blood shed for us. He came to fulfill the law, not to do away with it.  When Christ died on the cross was every eye opened and did every ear hear instantly? Of course not! We are each works in progress and no one knows it all, we are still learning over 2,000 years later.  We can go back to the old testament and read when God told us to wash our hands in running water.  This was because God knew how germs spread. The scientific man discovered germs in the early 20th century, and all those years before blind men died because of it.  He also told us in the old testament to circumcise on the 8th day. Doctors learned many, many centuries later that an infant does not produce vitamin K until the 8th day.  Without it the blood does not clot.  Wonder how many children bled to death before they discovered to give shots for this if performed before the 8th day?  So you see man did not instantly awaken to God’s Truth when His Son gave His life.

Lets look at another verse.1 Corinthians 14:34  Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says.  Keep in mind this was in the first century.  Lets break this down. Paul said, “your women,” this would imply they were in the flesh.  They were wives.  Probably in that day uneducated and talking among themselves, seated together on the opposite side of the church building.   God tells us for wives to be submissive to their husbands.  Again…the flesh.  Some women are just prone to talk…..I may be a woman but I have sat in services where I wanted to ask women around me to please be quiet.  So I believe Paul just wanted everything in order in the church building.  Keeping in mind it is the Spirit that changes us, lets see what God says about that?

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Galatians 5:25
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit

Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Romans 14:13
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling-block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

So now we can walk in the Spirit as God is Spirit and He lives in us.  Hallelujah!  Like I said in the beginning. It is written, the Holy Spirit will teach you all things. I truly believe we have been in the end times since the cross, but the Bible teaches in the end times knowledge will greatly increase.  Think how far we have come in the past 100 years compared to all those years before that.  God is pouring out His Spirit! Acts 2:17  ‘AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THE LAST DAYS, SAYS GOD, THAT I WILL POUR OUT OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL FLESH; YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS.
We are living in the last days.  When I sit under a Pastor, Teacher, Preacher etc. I try the Spirit according to Gods Holy word.  There are false teachers, just as the Bible speaks of and God through His Spirit will reveal them.  When God gives us a message it is to be shared.  God does not speak to the flesh but to the Spirit.  We do not share the message in the flesh, but by His Spirit.  So in summary.  The fleshly body does not belong in the pulpit be it male or female.  The anointing of the LORD is spiritual. So I leave you with this scripture. 1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.  God bless!!!!!

A Typical Day of Walking Through My Thoughts

This has been one of those days when I can’t seem to turn of the thoughts.  I wonder if others have these days and LORD bless them if they do.   I know God tells us to meditate in His Word both day and night.  He also tells us to pray without ceasing.   From my perspective of others, I have doubts that many do this.  There was a time when I would have looked at this as an impossibility.  We have work to do, children and grand children to look after.  How can we just stop everything and meditate in the Word and also pray without ceasing?  The key is we don’t stop anything, but His Spirit within us keeps our thoughts stayed on Him, no matter what we are doing.  The problem I have with this is there are always thoughts that I want to convey to others that I feel they are missing out on but most don’t want to hear it.  They take it as me being judgmental, or thinking I know the LORD better than they do.  That could NOT be farther from the Truth.  I recognize we are each at different levels, and I love all God’s children from the one that has not yet been convicted by Him, to the one that is well-studied and established in His Word.

This all started 11 years ago when I was called to service by the baptism of the Holy Spirit evidenced by speaking in tongues.  From that day until this……there is a hunger in me and also a voice in me that never stops.  My desire is to share it with others, but the one thing I can’t do is reveal to them what the LORD has revealed to me.  Only the Spirit reveals, and although I can speak to them by the Spirit within me, it has to be the Spirit within them that makes it theirs and not mine.  Just as when Jesus asked of His Disciples who do you say I am? When they had answered, He said only the Father could have revealed that to them.

Pondering all of this makes me wonder am I wasting my time? Then the Spirit speaks NO, God never gave up on you!  Honestly I could not turn my mind off even if I wanted to.  There have been times I have tried, especially when my body is screaming for sleep but I won’t quench the Spirit within me.  I think that is the persecution God’s word speaks of, not the kind that comes from those around us.   I can’t even start to imagine how Jesus felt, knowing the Father’s will as He was One with the Father, but at the same time having 12 followers (Disciples).  I run to the Bible numerous times during a day to look up a passage that comes to memory.  To confirm what I hear in the Spirit.  I am in constant prayer in my mind, and usually the prayer is Father forgive them, they know not what they do.  My heart goes out to the sick and the suffering.  I KNOW it is NOT God’s will for them.  I also KNOW that healing is a promise, not a maybe.  I hear many, many Pastors speak on how God’s answer is sometimes no.  I want to scream at them…..GOD’S WORD NEVER CHANGES!  I could give them verse after verse after verse on healing …..but until the LORD reveals those scriptures to them as He has to me, I am not going to change their minds….so I continue in prayer.

Four months ago I started our Facebook page for Jesus.  I was sick and tired of the money changers on Facebook using His Word to fill their pockets.  They have invested money in these so-called Ministries.  They feed on throwing out a few scriptures and prayer requests etc. each day…then they ask you to click Like, some even ask you to make an effort to click Like 10 times or more a day.  God’s children need to wake up, open their eyes and minds and realize if they ask you to click Like it’s for a reason.  Each time you click they bring in more revenue.  These are the pages that numbers in the billions of fans. Wolves in sheep’s clothing, feeding on the sincerity of Christian followers.  In order to get paid for the Likes, first the Author must pay Facebook for advertisements. When they pay Facebook, then every time anyone clicks Like on any post that counts as another follower on their page.  They do not have billions of fans, they many have 1,000′s that have clicked Like 100′s of times and each click counts as a fan.  Now that their numbers are established they can pay Facebook again to stop all advertisements on their pages.  That is where they cleanup. Now big advertisers pay big money to advertise on their websites.  Their mission is established.  Under false pretenses but established just the same.   They are the money changers that Jesus threw out of the Temple! The only way the real pages for Jesus grow is when someone clicks Like at the Top, and that is a one time thing.  No money changes hands. Any other Likes are just that a way of showing the Author you agree with their message.  A True Christian knows we don’t store up treasure on earth, and we give freely.

Sure we all love seeing others join our pages by clicking Like.  Personally I give God the glory for increasing our fellowship numbers.  Yet even I have been deceiving myself in the messages I post on Facebook.  They are biblical.  They are loving, They are what most of God’s children want to hear.  I say deceiving myself….NOT OTHERS because those are NOT the biggest messages God has given me.  Those are what I call the sugar-coated Gospel, the feel good ministry.  So LORD in Jesus name forgive me. amen

My message is about healing.  It is not about asking…it is about receiving of what has already been done.  I will no longer sugar coat the facts.  Healing is a promise and it is for the full man.  Body, soul, and spirit.  It is not just for next life.  It is for this life too.   There are conditions to be met in order to receive it…and Like Jesus said, according to Your faith be it unto you.  Many Pastors and believers do not like this message.  They believe we that do are questioning their faith if they do not see results.  Listen UP!! I question my own faith if I do NOT see results..…God never fails…so if someone is lacking in faith, they do not need me to tell them.  Jesus had 12 followers called Disciples when He walked the earth.  Still He said Father forgive them they know not what they do.  If my numbers drop…so be it.  My message will be the Full Gospel..not the sugar-coated ministry.  Until next time, God bless.

Happy (Easter) Resurrection Day

Matthew 28

1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. 5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. 8And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. 9And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. 10Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. 11Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. 12And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, 13Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 14And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. 15So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. 16Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
